Aston Martin has been working on DB11, the successor to DB9, for a long time, and with a good reason. DB9 was originally unveiled in 2003, and DB11 in 2016. DB11 has some rather impressive specs which make it a great choice for people who want the handling of Ferrari, with the comfort of a Bentley, because DB11 offers a great mix of the performance and handling of a Ferrari, with the comfort of a Bentley.
Aston Martin DB11 – a mix of Ferrari and Bentley
DB11 has either a 5.2L Aston Martin twin-turbo V12 engine, or a 4.0L Mercedes-AMG M177 twin-turbo V8 engine. It’s an 8–speed ZF-8HP75 automatic. Car is lengthy, at 187 in, and wide, at around 81 in. This makes it snug to the road, very stable and easy to handle.
Interior of the car looks very similar to a Mercedes Benz, probably because of the collaboration between the two companies that was arranged while Aston Martin was working on the DB11. Back seats exist, but they are very small, practically unusable. Car does have a trunk, if you can believe it. Check out the full review of the car made by Doug DeMuro. It has all the interesting facts and video footage of the car. It’s really something to look at, and ride, but then again, most high end cars are like that. What do you think, do you like it?
